Jost Family

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.  It is exciting to be part of God’s church and his called out.  We left a system that allowed confusion according to God’s word.  We did not know how to lay down sin and defended doctrines that appeared righteous; yet these doctrines did not help us get out of sin.  We are so sorry for people we have hurt in the past by claiming to love God yet not bearing the fruits of the spirit.

Today we are bearing the fruit of the Spirit of God and we are following Jesus’ path of “Not my will, but your will be done”.  We no longer live for selfish human desires nor have a love for the world.  We live in God’s boundaries which fall in pleasant places and we live and have faith to pass down a Holy seed to the next generation and generations to follow.  We love God with all of our heart and are honored and humbled that he has allowed us to repent of our selfish ways and grateful that we get to do His will here on earth as it is being done in heaven.

We are very grateful for Gwen Shamblin and her family.  They certainly have paved the way of wholehearted obedience and love to God. We have walked away from false teachers and teachings and have surrounded ourselves with a group of people that are living out God’s word and putting it into practice.  We have so much fun together and have pure and holy friendships.  Our children are making the connection that there are blessings for obedience to God and curses for disobedience.  We got married in 1988 and know that our marriage would not have lasted without learning to die to our will, and then adding kids to that, yikes. But with putting God first we have a peaceful and fun marriage, full of love for God, and our family is the same.  We love each other and get along well as we have all learned how to submit to authority; learning that if you treat your authority like this on earth…you will treat your authority like that in heaven, producing a holy reverence and fear for God. A relationship with God is everything to us. What else matters?  False teachings do not help you lay down sin, they keep you enslaved, a true teaching will set you free - you will be free to do the will of God.  We are truly grateful, praise God.
