Elizabeth Hannah

I am eternally grateful for all that God has given me, especially my family and our Church. My precious children consist of Grace, Gweneth, Gloria, and Charles Grantham. I was married to their father, Brandon Hannah, an incredibly righteous man, from 2003 until his death in 2021. My family loves God, and my children love to get on their knees and pray every morning and night alongside me. All I strive for is to do the will of God and pass that down to my children… for nothing else has blessed us more than experiencing the blessings that come from obedience to God!

My mother, Gwen Shamblin Lara, founded the Weigh Down Ministries. In every action and every word, she spoke for God alone. I loved her dearly... She was the Genuine Article who truly put GOD first in every aspect of her life. My family pulled out of the mainstream churches with the Martin family in 1999 to establish the Remnant Fellowship Church. We all felt God's lead and calling to found a church based on purity and "God's Will be done on this Earth as it is in Heaven"... a place where God would get to rule, Leaders are pure, husbands are kind like Christ, women are respectful to their husbands, and children obey their parents and find happiness in doing so. A place where members could lay down any sins, any addictions, or any worldly desires and have hearts free to love only God. We pulled out to see if that kind of Christ-based church could really exist… and we found that not only could it be done, it is continuing to be done here at Remnant Fellowship, over twenty years later.

Our church has been highly blessed for putting God first above ourselves, in the example of His son, Jesus Christ. The families are strong, and the children could not be happier and more joy-filled! (And praise God, the children in our church families will not be trapped by worldly addictions that our generation fought to come out of.) We have actually found freedom. The members of Remnant are all happier on a daily basis for putting our worldly desires behind us and focusing rather on His Kingdom here on earth. People in our church have laid down anger, drugs, anxiety, cigarettes, anti-depressants, gossip, pride, over-shopping, over-drinking, over-eating, over-gaming, sexual lusts—any addictions in the heart that separate us from putting God first in our lives. Marriages have been healed, families brought back together, finances restored, hearts and minds strengthened by turning to God instead of the things of the world.

At this time in my life, I find myself with the wonderful opportunity to follow in my mother’s footsteps in serving our beautiful church, and I am grateful for her example of decades of laying down her life for others.

I praise God daily for getting to find this TRUTH… and to be surrounded by a church full of Saints who love God and want to serve Him wholeheartedly…
