Welcome to Remnant Fellowship Churches, located in home settings and churches around the world. We are a growing community of worshipful, adoring believers of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, whose lives were immediately set free from many life-long addictions from which no one was able to be set free even after attending all representing denominations in the United States and even in the world. We tried it all. Jesus said that the Truth would set you free, and those who are free are free indeed.
People in the Remnant have been set free. Many were healed of sins and desires that they had been trapped in including overeating, alcoholism, gambling, drugs, sexual sins, greed for money, and the list goes on and on. As a result of being set free, our health is better – it's superior. Our marriages are strong. Our families are strong. Our children are growing up sound. Finances have been healed and people have, obviously in this place, been set free from depression. We're actually a very ecstatic group.
We were all stuck in our sins. We had no direction before the Truths - the sermons - that God has sent down from the Heavens that we have been able to participate in and hear and see at the Remnant. We have no doubt that those listening to this have, like us, been trying to lay down their bad habits for years, and their strongholds for years and years, with no permanent success. And with each passing year, you seem to gain more and more weight or be more and more in debt or more and more dependent upon alcohol and more and more jaded and more and more angry and more and more depressed. Now, if the Truth sets you free, then you have to assume that the Truth – THE Truth – is rare, rare indeed; for the present churches are full of people caught up in hidden addictions, but nevertheless, addictions. They don't admit it, but it's there, along with selfishness to the Heavens. The Truth is rare and it is given only to those who want to put it into practice.
When we finally heard the Truth that God has given us through His word, we knew it was the Truth because we broke free. Each of us experienced freedom in the area of our own personal strongholds, and through this message we truly came into communion with the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, His Son. Why did it take so long to find this Truth? Unfortunately, we were never warned by the large majority that there was even a narrow road. We were never told that there was more to seek; so we weren't seeking. We all, just like herds of cattle, followed the masses and the empty way of life taught by mainstream Christianity. And mainstream Christianity doesn't want you to find the way out, because it's a franchise and it makes money that way. But now we praise God that He has had mercy and has shown us the Truth about His true Church and His perfect will. That is rare indeed, to be able to find what the will of God is. You can't put a price tag on it. It has made all the difference.
It was not until we witnessed person after person, old and young, male and female, rich and poor, and people from every nation and nationality and all walks of life be transformed rapidly into new creations, that we had hope that we could change, and we had hope that there was indeed on this earth a true and powerful Church that parallels the first century Church as written about in the pages of the Book of Acts of the Apostles in chapters 1 through 5. I'm sure that you are aware of the increasing darkness and sin in the world. You would have to be blind not to be aware. However, when each of us experienced being born again—really born of God—we had optimism and great expectation that there was a great, unbelievably promising hope that God was indeed extending His grace and opening the doors to the Kingdom of God for this generation and the generations to come and perhaps until Jesus comes back. That's our prayer.
If you've been working for years for the counterfeit church and have been troubled and even disillusioned by the hypocrisy in the churchgoers of the 21st century, or even if you have given up on organized religion altogether, then you should hear these words and be encouraged. Your skepticism will disappear as you read about and see and hear and witness for yourself, as you come and visit with testimony after testimony of the lives of those who have put into practice the words of Jesus Christ, Who Himself came to do the will of the Father. It is real. I testify that it is real, and if you are like each of us who have discovered this, we were tired of the fake, false, hypocritical religion that robbed us and left us empty and in despair.
Why is it so surprising that the Kingdom of God can be found on earth? In mainstream Christianity it is taught that you cannot overcome sin and that each will always be sinning and that transformations, or being born again, come on the day of resurrection when we meet the Lord. And truly, the Bible does teach that our bodies will be transformed on that day. That's good news for a lot of us. But I'm referring to the heart being born again and the Kingdom of God being in our hearts. Now, to believe those things, you have to read only a few verses and pick and choose verses, because all the Prophets and all the Teachers and Jesus Christ said that you could overcome sin and that we must do so, to enter the Kingdom. If you hear this Truth, then you can overcome all addictions through following our Jesus Christ who was obedient to God unto death, and by following the Apostle Paul who, upon meeting Jesus Christ on the Road to Damascus, responded and lived out "Lord, what will you have me do?" See, if we follow in those footsteps, the footsteps of Jesus Christ, the Prophets and the Apostle Paul, then the will of the Father will consume us, and the zeal for God's house will be our zeal, and our addictions and desires will transfer over to something that gives great benefits and dividends and an incredible retirement.
We have all repeated the Lord's Prayer over and over and over—Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth just as it is in Heaven. We have prayed that all our lives. Jesus taught us to pray it, and we obeyed that part. It was Jesus Who prayed that God's Kingdom would come on earth; that God's will could be done on earth just as it was being done in Heaven. This is huge. Why did Jesus teach us and encourage us to pray these words if it were impossible for the Kingdom of God and communion with God, through His Spirit, to live in our hearts? Jesus said in John chapters 14 and 15, "If you love me, you will obey me," and the Father and I will come and live in your heart and make a home in your heart. There is the Kingdom. How powerful – God in our hearts! His attitude, the attitude of Christ, in our hearts! There is no power that can stop that, and that is truly a superior Kingdom where Jesus would then be the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, because nothing – nothing on earth, no bomb, no storm, no devastation – can destroy that kind of heart.
Learning to obey and following the will of God are not works but instead are true communion with God. To be in God's lead at all hours of the day is our joy; it's our food. Jesus said that His food was to do the will of the Father and to finish His work. If it is our sustenance and what keeps us going and what nourishes us and rejuvenates our spirit and our soul, then it's something that we're going to want to eat every day, all day, and several times a day. Like the physical food that used to pre-occupy our minds, now our minds are pre-occupied with a new food, and that is to accomplish the will of the Father, to find His Spirit. Jesus said in Hebrews 10, "Behold, I come to do Your will O God." And in John chapter 4, to the woman at the well, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in truth."
What is worshiping in the Spirit? It's walking in the will of the Father minute by minute, hour by hour. It's obedience to God, which is a communion with God. It is worshiping and adoring His will, and it's staying in the Spirit. "A time is coming and has now come when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth." In the garden, Jesus died to His own will. When He was knowingly facing death on a cross for God, that's a tough command to follow. Lord, let this cup pass from me, Jesus begged God, as His prayer was intense and long and was prayed through blood and tears – sweat drops of blood. It was so difficult to die to His will that He was sweating blood. That is, as you know, knowing you're about to die on the cross for God and you don't want to die that way, perhaps for many reasons; not just the physical. There is no telling what the emotions were, but the prayer is ended with, "But not my will but Yours be done."
The Truth that we speak of here is fundamental and it's essential, and that is a daily practicing, living like Christ, with the same attitude as Jesus had toward His Father, toward His God, His Father and our Father, Who is in Heaven. Others were healed as they touched the edge of the garment of Jesus Christ. I understand that, because when each of us just barely touched on this Jesus that we're talking about and this Truth of a compliant and worshiping Spirit through obedience, we start the healing process immediately. Finding the direction that our boss wants at work on this earth and fulfilling it is common and is done by the masses, and it is rewarded on earth, usually. You see all of China obedient to their bosses and the Japanese and you hear of it in many European countries, and you see glimpses of it in America, and it's done. People find out what their earthly boss wants, what his needs are, and they fulfill it and obey it. How much more so would it be rewarding for us to find out the will of our heavenly Father.
You know, there are rules at work on earth, in our work places, and we are expected to follow the rules or we will be put on probation, or we could be immediately fired. Earthly teachers with their homework and bosses with their employee manuals—they are firm, and they mean business, because they know that humans can obey. Speed limits are put on the side of the highways and monitored, not because humans can't obey it, but it's obvious that humans can make a choice. They obviously can make a choice to stay within the limits. Highway patrol cars know that these limits can be obeyed, and if they are not, there are fines and even imprisonments for disobeying driving and drinking rules. It is only in modern-day churches where it is taught that you're only human, and therefore you cannot obey the will of the Father. It's just the churches – the churches are the most lax entity on the planet. What an abomination! But in the world, the bulging prisons and the harsh and sometimes even life sentences are there to teach children that there are consequences for disobedience to the government. The government here means business. You have got to obey those laws, pay your taxes, stay within the rules of the stock market, and you have got to stay within the rules of many of the Ten Commandments—"Thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not murder, thou shalt not move boundary stones."
Once you hear that in the true church you can obey and that we insist on this practice of communion with God through obedience, this Truth that you can let go of your addictions by choice opens up a whole world of possibilities—and your faith and confidence and belief soars. Pessimism disappears, and less of your life is left up to chance and some unknown fate—and more assurance is put on your own ability to choose your fate. At that point you have more aspiration to put your heart and your soul and your mind and strength into this Kingdom, this journey of obedience and practice, this practice of sacrifice, this Truth that sets you free. It leaves you with great expectations of a better life on this earth and security for the life to come. The practice of obedience comes with detachment from this world and embracing the suffering of Christ. Paul would count it all as refuse versus knowing Christ. In Philippians chapter 3, we read beginning in verse 7,
"But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead - (straining, straining - there is the action verb) -toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained.
Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."
Even though our citizenship is in heaven, there is a Kingdom on this earth. There is a true Church. The Remnant is a group of believers who all have in common the experience of being born again. Our hearts and our minds and our souls have been transformed. Lives have been transformed through the power of following in the footsteps and the mindset of Jesus Christ all the way to an attitude toward God like Christ had; not our wills but Your will be done. Your will be done. And we are thrilled about it and never want to return to our old way of selfishness, our own desires, feeding our own flesh and desires—that way of living. We want no part of it anymore. It frightens us to go near there or to touch that way of living. This is something that we want to share with the world, but only God's Spirit can open up the minds, the understanding, the sight to see the Kingdom of God.
Our prayer is that you listen to the Truth long enough and do not let satan rob you of the Truth that sets you free and free indeed. Do not play around with this Truth and let it go and say, "Oh, I'll pick it up another day." When you hear it, you take it and you sell everything and you run with it. Constant responding to the Spirit of God through submitting to the Father as Jesus did creates communion, priceless communion, with the God of all creation, the stars, the galaxies, the heavens and His precious Son, Jesus Christ. It is being in the vine. We know and have seen the Truth that, once you find this message, you don't just relax. Like Paul, you press. You press on. You strain for what is ahead, because Jesus said in John chapter 15,
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit..." - If you're not in the Spirit you won't have the fruits of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control - "while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you." (He is talking to His disciples, and they have already experienced being transformed by the words of Christ— the Truth—and so they are bearing fruit.) Then He goes on to warn them, "But remain in me. Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love."
Obedience—obedience—it's beautiful. Do you want to remain in this love? It's just like a child who stays by your side and communes with you by obedience and by following what you're saying. You have a beautiful relationship, but the one who turns and disobeys does not. To have a relationship and to have answered prayers is to remain in the vine. God gives His will to those who are going to obey it. Why give it to those who are not going to obey it? It tires you out to tell people or employees or children to do something and you know that they're just going to stare at you while you speak, but they never do what you say. Likewise, God gives His will, His beautiful and perfect will and desires, to those who will put it into practice.
Can you not figure out how to lose weight yet? Then it's because you've not purposed in your heart to do it. So purpose in your heart to obey what He tells you to do, and then He will show you the way out of your desires that have ensnared you. Do you really want out of the trap of your own desires? Then obey what He tells you to do. Put it into practice. These are powerful and revolutionary words and concepts. I pray that these words fall on the hearts of those who want God to rule on this earth.
