The Storm Doesn’t Define You – You Define The Storm
August 19, 2026August, 2026
In this inspirational sermon from August 29, 2026, from Elizabeth Kaufmann, she upholds historical examples of men who bowed low before God, putting His Will before all else: Noah, Moses, Cyrus, Darius, Daniel, and of course, Jesus Christ, son of the Almighty God. All these examples never hesitated to bow low before the One and Only God of the Universe. You do not have to be perfect to bow before God; in fact, there was only one perfect human, and that was Jesus Christ, and he humbled himself to uphold His Father. The Apostle Paul reminds us that even though we are not perfect, we should ever stop striving. Elizabeth notes the importance of humility in bowing, and she shares a personal story of her own dedication to bowing low before the Father, emphasizing that “every knee will bow” before God and Christ (Philippians 2:10-11).
